Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Advanced Digital Signal Processing Systems Engineer position that just opened in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for RF-based systems. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Position: Senior Advanced Digital Signal Processing Systems Engineer
Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $72.01/hour

Responsibilities
As a Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for RF-based systems.
  • Lead system development life cycles, including requirements management and system modeling.
  • Collaborate on hardware/software partitioning and implementation trades.
  • Perform hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab.

Education & Clearance Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field, plus 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Agile development experience preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Statistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, and RF mitigation techniques.
  • Experience developing algorithms for signal parameter analysis using Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications/Information Theory.
  • Knowledge of anti-jam systems, spatial beamforming, and GNSS/AltNav AJ implementations.
  • Familiarity with STAP, SFAP, or similar AJ algorithms.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and deliver innovative solutions under challenging requirements.
