COLSA is seeking a Senior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Acquisition Logistician to support the C-17 Program Office at Robins AFB, GA.
  • Support the planning, development, and execution of a comprehensive, cost-effective systems support strategy across all phases of the aircraft life cycle.
  • Provide logistics and sustainment expertise to the Program Manager and Product Support Manager (PSM) in the execution of total life cycle systems management activities.
  • Analyze and manage logistics data for FMS programs, including spares, tooling, assets, and maintenance support requirements.
  • Coordinate material requirements and resolve shortfalls through DLA, PROS, and other supply systems to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
  • Serve as a logistics focal point for C-17 depot and heavy maintenance programs-overseeing maintenance schedules, configuration management, and supply activities.
  • Develop and maintain depot induction, modification, and delivery schedules; monitor progress and coordinate issue resolution with SAPM teams, contractors, and foreign liaison offices.
  • Review and evaluate Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) for supportability, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
  • Track and report aircraft depot downtime and possession data using Air Force maintenance systems.
  • Provide regular briefings to MAJCOM, Center, Directorate, Program Office, and FMS partners on fleet status, configuration, and sustainment performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Post-Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post-Production Transition Plans (PPTP/TPP), and other sustainment strategies.
  • Ensure logistics compliance with applicable policies and standards, including AFI 23-101, AFMAN 23-122, and DoDM 4140.01 (Vol 6).
  • Conduct Government Furnished Property (GFP) inventories and maintain accountability in accordance with DAFMAN 23-119 and MIL-STD-129/130.
  • Assist in Spare Requirement Review Board (SRRB) processes, Item Unique Identification (IUID), and other life-cycle logistics efforts.
  • Support acquisition milestones and documentation throughout all program phases-MSA, TMRR, EMD, Production/Deployment, and Operations & Support.
  • Evaluate contractor logistics performance and provide input for PAR/CPAR assessments.

Required Experience

One of the following combinations of education/experience:
    • MA/MS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
    • BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR-
    • HS Diploma, and twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
  • Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in the technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams), Adobe Acrobat.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior USAF or DoD supply system experience supporting aviation logistics or sustainment activities
  • Proven ability to brief senior leaders (MAJCOM, Program Office, Directorate) on fleet status and logistics readiness
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics or international sustainment programs
