We are seeking an Information Assurance Administrator to support our Defense Systems Sector.
In this role, you’ll support the secure and compliant operation of classified and unclassified systems. You’ll manage ATO documentation, perform system audits, conduct vulnerability scans, and support engineers and local users with system administration tasks. You will work closely with U.S. Government IWS6 customers to support secure classified programs, maintain continuity of operations, and ensure mission readiness.

We are seeking an Information Assurance Administrator to support our Defense Systems Sector.
In this role, you’ll support the secure and compliant operation of classified and unclassified systems. You’ll manage ATO documentation, perform system audits, conduct vulnerability scans, and support engineers and local users with system administration tasks. You will work closely with U.S. Government IWS6 customers to support secure classified programs, maintain continuity of operations, and ensure mission readiness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer Windows and Linux systems
- Build/maintain Linux/Windows workstations and servers to DoD STIG standards
- Configure switches and firewalls; perform basic network troubleshooting
- Conduct vulnerability assessments (SCAP, ACAS/Nessus, DISA STIGs)
- Perform periodic maintenance including OS patching and virus definition updates
- Support ticket requests, user account management, password resets, and account unlocks
- Resolve file-level permission issues across Linux and Windows environments
- Maintain system security and recovery processes in accordance with RMF and DoD policies
- Install hardware and software as required
Basic Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, IT/Network Administration (or 4–8 years direct experience in lieu of degree)
- Current DoD 8570.01 IAM II certification (Security+ w/ CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems; 4+ years Linux administration experience
- Experience administering Linux in a Windows domain environment
- 1–3 years configuring switches and firewalls (Cisco experience strongly preferred)
- Experience with RMF, NIST, CNSS, DSS, and DoD cybersecurity directives
- Strong customer service skills; ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks
- Must be willing to pursue CISSP and RHCSA within first year of employment
- Security+ and Linux certification (Red Hat or Linux+)
