Bring precision and problem-solving to the systems that power our nation’s defense. As an Integration and Test Engineer with Caribou Thunder, you’ll help ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical avionics, flight, and communication systems — where every test drives mission success.
A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Develop, execute, and document integration and system test procedures for advanced avionics and mission systems.
• Perform top-level and subassembly testing activities, including tester certification and calibration.
• Conduct acceptance testing in accordance with established procedures and populate test logs, data sheets, and As-Built Lists (ABLs).
• Troubleshoot test failures for production and field return assets, initiating and processing System Problem Reports (SPRs).
• Generate Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies and document issues with Special Test Equipment (STE).
• Design and automate regression tests to improve system verification and validation efficiency.
• Participate in engineering technical reviews, providing insights to improve test coverage and system performance.

• You’re a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex test challenges and ensuring systems operate flawlessly.
• You have experience in integration and testing, using automation and diagnostic tools to verify hardware and software functionality.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience — or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• You’re comfortable working in lab environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and documenting every critical detail.

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or Computer Science and 5+ years of related experience; or 10+ years of relevant domain experience without a degree.
• Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using environmental chambers, testers, and vibration equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools.
• Adherence to quality and documentation standards in product test environments.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of digital circuitry and high-frequency measurements.
• Proficiency using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum and network analyzers.
• Experience performing root cause analysis down to the component level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for data tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.
