Overview
VTG is seeking a Property Logistics Specialist III to provide supply chain management and logistics support for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Navy (USN) in support of the Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207). Reports directly to the Product Support Manager (PSM) and supports the C-130 and VR OSA Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML) within the Tactical Airlift Program Office (PMA-207). Primary duties will be to assist in managing all property governance and overseeing lifecycle processes across the strategic aspects of the Tactical Airlift Program to ensure efficient and effective sustainability of all Tactical Airlift assets. Additional duties will include acting as a technical expert in the development of digital supply chain management tools.

Property Logistics Specialist III shall provide logistics support to the Tactical Airlift team by:

Education: BS or BA degree. Master's degree is preferred.
Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of USN/USMC Supply Chain experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience - At least ten (10) years of experience in management of cross-functional teams with at least five (5) years of experience in supply chain management and government property management. Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform independent work to provide support of DoD weapons systems and equipment.
Work hours will be in direct support of the client; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, and Project; highly proficient in utilizing the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning tool (Navy-ERP) and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE); well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to support a highly integrated network of team members required to successfully execute the Tactical Airlift Supply Chain Management and Property Management missions.
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay is $120,000-$140,000 annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.

What will you do?
Property Logistics Specialist III shall provide logistics support to the Tactical Airlift team by:
- Managing all property governance and overseeing lifecycle processes, address challenges with those processes, and ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance with property auditing regulations.
- Implementing supply chain management best practices and methodologies to drive supply efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviewing the coordination of interdepartmental activities to ensure that all supporting elements are aligned with required timelines and objectives.
- Collaborating with NAVAIR Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Command Property Office (CPO) teams to achieve audit compliance and readiness.
- Utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy-ERP) software tools to track program compliance and provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Fostering positive relationships with customers, contractors, and partnering organizations to enhance program success.
- Supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Assisting in preparing and presenting reports on property governance and accountability status, progress, and performance.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Maintaining program records and files in accordance with program requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans for the Tactical Airlift Supply Chain Management and Property Management Programs.
- Assisting in setting program objectives and goals.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for material management optimization.
- Evaluating program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Providing technical expertise in the development of digital supply chain tools.
- Collaborating with contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
- Monitoring team performance and resolving issues or disputes as necessary.
- Assisting in preparing and managing reports and records related to supply chain management.
