  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications related to specific cloud platforms.
  • Experience in vendor comparison and cost studies to plan and justify network projects.

About the job
As a Mandiant Strategic Security Consultant, you will lead and support projects on behalf of clients that assess, test, or build their security programs. Project teams may range from 2 to 5 colleagues. Clients will range from start-up companies looking to supplement their security team to Fortune hundred companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program. You will provide guidance and advice to your client on best practices and managing the risks for their security program.Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Define, govern, and prioritize overall network standards and architectures across the enterprise.
  • Plan and execute major network projects, including thorough vendor comparisons, cost studies, and overseeing system configuration interfaces.
  • Design, define, and maintain secure system architectures, specializing in implementing hybrid cloud integration with multiple public cloud service providers.
  • Analyze network operations for improvement opportunities, providing expert guidance on network routing protocols and advanced virtual networking technologies.
  • Identify and enforce security requirements, specifically ensuring COMSEC compliance across all enterprise networks and platforms.
