Safety - QA Specialist

We're hiring a Junior Safety / QA Specialist to assist in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-regulated work environment. In this role, you'll provide foundational support across a range of aviation and industrial safety areas, helping implement procedures that protect personnel, equipment, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Assist with safety program operations that align with:
• NAVAIRINST 3710.1 (Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations)
• DFARS 252.228-7001
• Support environmental health and safety processes in areas such as:
• Aviation material readiness
• Radiation, biological, and chemical safety
• Physical and hangar safety
• Industrial hygiene and fall protection
• Contribute to the development and coordination of safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA) activities for contractor compliance.
• Communicate clearly in both written reports and verbal discussions.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest or early experience in safety, environmental health, or industrial hygiene.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance.
