Job Description
BAE Systems, a globally recognized leader in intelligence and security, is actively seeking a qualified Consortim Project Support Specialist to join the NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) in support of the Next Missile Significant Variant. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and decisive professional, prefereable with a a background in the United States Navy (USN) and extensive knowledge in International acquisition and weapon systems management. The individual will be pivotal in providing strategic and operational support to the Deputy Program Manager International for the current and future missile variants, combat systems and their associated launching systems. .

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical and Analytical Support to N-00B: Offer expert recommendations and analysis to assist the International Deputy Program Manager (N-00B) in supporting NSPO's strategic objectives and operational activities. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare coordinated responses to complex programmatic issues for government review and decision-making. Facilitate communication within the Consortium as directed by N-00B to support alignment and execution of NSPO initiatives.
- Support Program Management and Planning Activities: Assist in Consortium program management by conducting research, preparing draft briefings, maintaining an action item database, and supporting the integration of programmatic efforts under N-00B's guidance. Provide administrative and technical support to help achieve Consortium short-term and long-term goals, operations, and planning as directed by the government.
- Ensure Compliance with NSPO Policies: Review Consortium projects and reports to verify adherence to NSPO policies and regulations, as directed by N-00B. Identify potential operational challenges and propose solutions for government consideration, ensuring all contractor activities align with NSPO standards.
- Prepare Briefings and Presentations: Develop high-quality briefings and presentations for International Consortium partners, ensuring all materials are submitted to N-00B and US government representatives for review and clearance for ITAR release.
- Develop and Manage Communication Plans: Establish and administer a communication plan to coordinate and track requests for program information from Consortium partners, current and potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Third Party Nations customers, and other stakeholders, as directed by N-00B. Prepare responses and materials for International Partner Requests for Information (RFI), TPS/FMS information briefs, and similar requests, ensuring all outputs are submitted for government approval.
- Report directly to the BAE Systems PM for all N-00B-hosted or sponsored meetings and program reviews, including high-level meetings with representatives from international governments, and industry, as directed by N-00B. Provide liaison support between NSPO and the NNAG on requirements and resource matters, facilitating communication and information exchange under government oversight.
- Coordinate contractor teams, under the BAE Systems prime contract, ensuring effective execution of N-00B meetings in areas such as IT/IM, Meeting logistics, Security, meeting planning, administration, and associates support.
- Support N-00B in responding to inquiries from the National Deputies. Coordinate draft responses, compile data, and provide expert support for government review and finalization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 12+ years of experience in a Navy acquisition program setting. A Master's degree may substitute 2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven record of managing diverse professional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Deep understanding of ITAR, EAR, and other relevant U.S. and international export control regulations.
- Solid understanding of international defense acquisition and experience with the intricacies of international defense procurement.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in engaging effectively with government entities, foreign representatives, and contractors.
- Proficient in negotiation and conflict resolution, capable of managing complex scenarios and achieving stakeholder consensus.
- Adaptive to changing priorities and able to maintain strategic focus under varying conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Must be a US citizen and possess an active Secret DoD clearance to be considered for this position.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent DoD certification) is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of US or International Navy/DoD weapons systems acquisition processes, including OPNAV Resource Sponsor POM and equivalent international processes.
- Expertise in strategic planning, budget management, and process improvement within a defense acquisition context.
- Technical acumen with familiarity in current and emerging technologies pertinent to missile defense systems.
- Extensive knowledge of security protocols and experience in managing sensitive and classified information.
- Experience with Navy Correspondence formats.
- Familiarity with NATO SEASPARROW, NAVSEA policies, processes, and procedures is a plus.
Travel:
- This role demands considerable travel to coordinate effectively with various meeting locations both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental US (OCONUS).
