This role as a Project Engineer Sr Stf, you will be responsible for leading a highly visible proposal effort on the Mk7 program in the broader FBM portfolio. As the Lead Proposal Analyst and Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead all aspects of proposal development, including Technical, Management, Past Performance, Security, Basis of Estimate, Contracts, Executive Summary, Integrated Master Schedule and Plans, etc
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business development, to gather input and ensure a comprehensive proposal.
• Ensure proposal development and submission processes comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and manage proposal schedules and deadlines, develops proposal artifacts and supporting artifacts such as proposal outline, compliance matrix, storyboard plan, and delivery plan
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to gather input, provide updates, and ensure proposal alignment with customer requirements.
• Develop and edit proposal content, including technical volumes, management plans, and pricing volumes, ensuring writing is clear, concise, and compelling.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery of compliant and compelling proposals on all assigned opportunities
• Understand and apply lessons learned to future activities
• Research and write compelling and compliant Basis of Estimates (BOEs) as well as leading/teaching other proposal analysts with their BOE development
• Serve as a quality control checkpoint for all proposal artifacts
• Staff, lead and/or facilitate the conduct of effective and efficient proposal color team reviews
• Lead and manage the review and revision process for proposals, ensuring feedback is incorporated and proposals are improved.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a project engineering or proposal development role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex proposals.
• Strong knowledge of proposal development principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience in Pricing, Estimating, Engineering, Finance or any other Business Operations function.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's processes, products, systems, technologies, and procedures.
• Several years of experience writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using industry best practices
• Strong analytical, communication, or interpersonal skills
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple IPTs
• Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
• Experience on a missile program
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• DoD TS clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
