As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following site-specific procedures.
- Verify identification and credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
