Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer position that just opened. In this role, you will be supporting CCA development for electronics in high-reliability undersea communication systems . To be considered, you will have an Associate's degree plus a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
Location: Onsite, hybrid, or fully remote (If onsite, position is based in McLeansville, NC)
Position: ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer
Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $55.01/hour

Responsibilities
- Serve as ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer supporting CCA development for electronics in high-reliability undersea communication systems.
- Manage ECAD libraries and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver accurate PCB layouts and documentation packages.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance (preferred if already held).
Preferred Skills
- Minimum two years' experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
- Expertise in ECAD/PCB layout design processes and library management practices.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (Mentor Graphics suite or Altium).
- Experience with schematic capture, BOM generation, and digital fabrication packages (ODB++).
- Knowledge of IPC standards and CCA fabrication techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers regarding design documentation.
What Sets You Apart
- Proficiency in advanced tools such as Hyperlynx, SolidWorks NX or CREO for 3D modeling.
- Hands-on circuit design and prototyping experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing standards and documentation processes.
