Position: Space Force - Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Secret

Responsibilities
- Translate complex requirements into robust system designs for ground operational systems supporting space missions.
- Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, integration teams, and mission partners to ensure technical solutions meet operational needs.
- Champion new ideas and process improvements throughout the systems development life cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics) and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Agile development experience preferred.
- U.S. citizenship and active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.
Preferred Skills
- Ground system design and scheduling knowledge.
- Expertise in tracking mission design and satellite communications.
- Experience with cloud-based microservice architectures.
- Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, MATLAB) for system analysis and prototype development.
- Simulation and modeling experience using tools like STK.
