Overview
We are seeking an AV Technical/Project Lead to join our team supporting the Space Development Agency in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will work with the customer to provide installation oversite, operations and maintenance of as-built AV systems throughout the customer's area of responsibility, as well as requirements capture, design / engineering, and installation of system enhancements to custom control system designs based on the customer's needs. Candidate will also provide high-end products and services recommendations, as well as launching and commissioning of customer deliverables timely and efficiently according to project timelines. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of current AV design technologies and integration, with a focus on multi-classification DoD systems and security compliancy requirements.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $137,000.00 - $155,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversite during AV installation phase of build room build outs and system lifecycle.
- Ensure end-to-end encryption for all AV transmissions to protect against interception or data leaks.
- Ensure tamper-resistant and access-controlled equipment, often with physical and software-based safeguards.
- Verify SCIF-approved AV systems, which meet specific criteria for shielding, sound masking, and electromagnetic interference control.
- Ensure compliance with DoD Information Security Program guidelines, including secure storage, transmission, and destruction of classified media.
- Provide training, ensuring only authorized and trained individuals operate or maintain the AV systems.
- Provide operations and maintenance support to as-built AV/VTC systems.
- Diagnose and repair all AV issues as they arise.
- Lead/assist programmer with evaluation and testing of changes/updates to AV systems and equipment.
- Thorough understanding of various AV technologies and protocols that include Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, QSC, Shure, and ClearOne.
- Develop detailed reports as needed.
- Troubleshoot new and legacy systems. Including hardware cabling and components.
- Supervises and supports/performs testing, documentation, and training.
- Integrate third-party hardware/software solutions when needed.
- Interface with external/internal clients and manufacturers/vendors.
- Install, test, and support AV systems, both on-site and remotely, with possible travel outside city/state of local office.
- Understand and installation of structured cabling to include pulling, termination and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, fiber optic, and audio cables if needed.
- Understand and assist with the installation of AV control system equipment hardware to include audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and all presentation systems if needed.
- Identify and solve issues that will impact the project.
- Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met including close out documentation and punch list items.
- Perform quality control/check on finished product/projects including testing and presentation training to clients.
- Deliver projects as assigned including communication management, schedule management, source control, and documentation.
- Regularly reports to manager on the status of all projects.
- Responsible for coordinating with property owners and OEMs in processing RMA issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines of OSHA and client requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of company standards and methodology.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Office 365 and Microsoft products
