Sr. Systems Administrator

Overview

i3 has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Systems Administrator to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform Windows system hardening and patching activities using DoD approved tools such as ACAS and HBSS.
• Perform vulnerability remediation using WSUS/SCCM or other third party tools.
• Manages the functionality of servers and computers running Windows operating systems within an Active Directory environment.
• Perform implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management.
• Support infrastructure and facility upgrades.

Qualifications

Required:

• Security+ Certification
• Minimum five (5) years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory groups, GPOs, user accounts, and other objects.
• Experience utilizing ticket systems to manage and respond to end user requests Experience installing and maintaining network hardware and software.

Desired:

• Eight (8) years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with data encryption such as BitLocker.
• Experience with virtual environments.

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
