The Boe ing Company is currently seeking a Software Engineer-Systems (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to support our Phantom Works Software team l o cated in Tukwila, Washington. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.

Position Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains s oftware sys tems that meet indus try, c ustomer, and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards
- Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and translate syste m-leve l requirements into software requirements and models that meet customer, operational needs, performance requirements and have clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts
- Completes software system-level a nalyses t o identify risks, issues and opportunities; integrates and deploys mitigation actions throughout the sof tware l ifecycle
- Performs code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards
- Monitors and reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems
- Develops user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software products
- Reviews product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards by tracking and evaluating internal team and supplier performance. Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
- Perform software project management and software supplier management activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 2 + years of experience working with agile teams and agile software development
- 2 + years of experience with the SDLC (Software/Systems Development Lifecycle)
- 2 + years of experience using Systems Engineering tools (i.e., CAMEO, CORE 9, etc.) for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology ( including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Familiarity with Link 16, MADL, and/or IP based networking
- Familiarity with the OMS/UCI systems architecture and common messaging set
- Familiarity with AMS-GRA government reference architectures
- E xperience with programming in C++ or Java
