Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Experienced or Senior Level Innovation Project Manager supporting the Government Training Team in Hazelwood, Mo.
In this role, you will be leading and supporting a wide variety of Government Training priorities, including product line licensing strategies, business case development, investment and portfolio management, technology roadmap updates, and workforce development activities.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develops strong relationships with engineering teams and supporting functions across organizational boundaries.
- Responsible for overseeing and driving execution of special projects within Government Training.
- Leads development of project plans, deliverables and directs all project phases in support of execution, ensuring roadblocks are removed and risks are mitigated.
- Leads technical discussions with Program Management and Business Development.
- Leads IRAD business case development for product line investments.
- Reports to Innovation and Workforce Senior Manager.
- Some travel may be required.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 5+ years' experience managing complex projects from inception through fielding / sustainment transition.
- 5+ years' experience in collaborating and integrating various functional groups such as intellectual property, finance, engineering, program management and business development.
- Proficient visual presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and leadership skills are needed to encourage cooperation with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Experience managing and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with DOD and/or government acquisition processes.
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data with the ability to dive into the details to understand, then presenting information to an executive audience in a clear, concise, and visual method.
- Experience performing in a finance, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role.
- Experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives.
- Experience with data analytics in support of communication efforts.
