Description:What You Will Be Doing
F-16 Build Team Completion Supervisor, Systems/Test- Greenville SC
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team in Greenville, South Carolina as an F-16 Aircraft Build Team Supervisor!
Responsibilities include:
• Supervises Production Build Process for F-16V Block 70 to include various structural components.
• Ensures the Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule performance for assigned production area.
• Accomplishes results through lower-level subordinate production leads and employees.
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost and schedule performance.
• Manage all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, cost, resources, logistics/production control, equipment and process/procedure.
• Develop strategies to package and absorb out-of-station work, in-span to prevent disruption to normal production sequence/flow.
• Drive focus toward continuous process improvement, corrective action and expeditious implementation of robust, relevant corrective action plans.
• Recognizes and rewards superior individual performance and effectively addresses poor performance issues.
• Creates a culture that ensures accountability and trust while ensuring compliance with Company Policies & Procedures.
• Staff and manage technical proficiency levels to ensure a trained, qualified, skilled workforce.
• Foster customer relations building rapport and confidence between the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and our System Program Office.
• Help employees and the organization move effectively and efficiently through change by facilitating implementation and acceptance.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Aviation Production or Maintenance, Modification, Repair and Overhaul (MMRO) Operations.
Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience interacting with internal/external customers.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.
Previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as an licensed FAA "Airframe and Power" plant or Inspector Airframe license.
Recent fighter aircraft experience
Ability to obtain a security clearance as required.
Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
SAP experience is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
