Description:
You will be the Production Test Engineer (Missile Assembly) (ATE) -2nd Shift for the Missile Assembly team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing automated test equipment, manufacturing test planning, and electro‑mechanical integration to support Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Test Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the successful production of missiles. You will play a critical role in developing automated test equipment, preparing detailed test procedures, and troubleshooting test anomalies on a 2nd‑shift schedule (Mon‑Thurs 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM).

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above and 1+ years professional experience; Or 6 years of related professional experience.
- Working knowledge / experience of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
- Must be will and able to work 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 2:00PM- 12:30AM).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge / experience with (1) electronic circuit design, (2) automated test equipment & software design, (3) evaluating electrical test results, (4) conducting detailed failure analysis, (5) developing and implementing root cause and corrective / preventative actions, (6) utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis, and (7) Thermal and Vibration testing and equipment.
Previous experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, Visual C or Visual Basic, and National Instrument -Windows CVI, Test-Stand and NI -View software.
Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products.
Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment.
