Vehicle Fleet Operations Specialist

Mayvin is seeking a Vehicle Fleet Operations Specialist to support the Management Services Division (MSD) - Fleet section of the United States Marshals Service (USMS). The incumbent will be involved in scheduling maintenance, assigning vehicles to drivers, monitoring fuel usage, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and aiming to minimize costs and maximize vehicle uptime.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports that include statistical analyses and narratives on vehicle assignments, replacements and/or sales, fuel usage, maintenance and repairs, and vehicle allocations to staff
• Analyze and interpret data to find more efficient and effective ways to achieve program goals, as required by statutes and policies
• Prepare and review briefings, reports, and other correspondence for accuracy, consistency, and content
• Brief management of recommended solutions for program-related issues
• Assist in establishing administrative procedures for specific programs, such as fleet management and financial management
• Work in groups or teams on special projects to achieve program goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in fleet management operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Rental Car Operations/Management or GSA Fleet Management experience
