Senior Agile Project Manager
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Clearance Required: Active Secret

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000
Role Description
BIT is seeking a Senior Agile Program Manager to support our Client’s enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role requires strong experience in Agile program management, stakeholder coordination, and strategic planning. The Senior Agile Program Manager will oversee program execution, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment with mission objectives while driving Agile best practices across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
Lead program management activities across multiple Agile teams to deliver enterprise data and analytics initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and track program schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Stand-ups).
Coordinate with stakeholders to define program goals, prioritize backlogs, and ensure strategic alignment.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
Provide status reporting (dashboards, program updates, executive briefings).
Support strategic planning by aligning resources, technology, and funding to program objectives.
Oversee technical writing, meeting documentation, and action item tracking for leadership reviews.
Serve as the primary liaison between BIT, Client leadership, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance (required).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of program/project management experience in IT or data-focused programs.
Strong background in Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
Demonstrated success managing large-scale federal programs with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive briefing skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
PMP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
