Amentum is seeking an IT/Cyber Operators Support Specialist to support a government contract in Kauai, HI. Under limited supervision, performs a variety of multiple-level administrative tasks with the associated work area assigned. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting IT leadership, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Provides support to the IT Manager and Assistant Manager
  • Reviews and distributes incoming correspondence. Draft responses for review and signature.
  • Assists in research and collecting data to prepare the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
  • Prepares professional looking spreadsheets, reports, and presentations utilizing Microsoft Office tools
  • Develops and maintains an organized filing system in compliance with the record retention policies.
  • Assist in tracking and validating Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) certification and status
  • Assist in generating Purchase Request (PR), Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR) and other related purchasing documentation.
  • Assist in preparation and maintaining company documents such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Department Internal Procedure (DIP)
  • Interface with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support of and achievement of customer goals.
  • Interact and support customers, through the application of specific program knowledge, in the execution of program management tasks.
  • Coordinate and maintain program documentation with internal and external teams including plans, schedules, briefings, reports correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.
  • Create and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).
  • Review, evaluate and provide assessments of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific areas and prepare findings.
  • Interface with internal and external program participants to coordinate overall activities to support customer goals.
  • Performs additional duties as directed by supervisor.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling with a limit of 1-10 lbs.
  • Work positions requirements: walking, standing, sitting, Work requiring repeated stooping, or frequent climbing.
  • Working environment activities: Customer contact, extended workday, confined work area, and office laboratory.


Minimum Qualifications
  • DOD Approved 8570 IAT Level I Baseline Certification within 6 months of start date
  • Bachelor's Degree
    • Business School preferred
    • Years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of general office experience is required.
  • IT background and knowledge a plus
  • Should have strong background using personal computers, computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access), and standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to type 50-60 words per minute and multi-task during peak periods.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess the following PC skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.


Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a US Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75k - $85k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
