The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Factory Automation Support Engineer to join our Government Programs team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge factory automation, supporting critical systems that power Intel's advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Schedule: Compressed work schedule (2-4-day workweek, primarily overnight hours )

SHIFT 6 (12-hour Night Shift: Days- Wed, Thurs, Fri and every other Saturday)

Location: On-site required- Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported.

What You'll Do
  • Drive Innovation: Provide expert technical support for Factory Automation Applications, Databases, and Infrastructure platforms across Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
  • Lead Solutions: Deliver advanced support for specialized Intel applications across our global factory network.
  • Build the Future: Execute high-impact projects including software installations, automation hardening, and CIP software development
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Troubleshoot sophisticated systems that control material tracking, semiconductor processing, and critical data analysis.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in any of the following: Java, Python, C# or other object-oriented programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a STEM field
  • 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$109,070.00-206,860.00 USD
