Supply Technician

Branch Health Clinic Iwakuni Kanban Supply Technical Support Services.

• Contractor shall provide supply technical, material management and causative research necessary to support medical and dental consumables inventory management of the Kanban Supply System at Branch Health Clinics (BHCs).
• Contractor shall assist in the daily inventory and replenishment of medical and dental supplies in the patient care areas.
• The contractor will also assist with tracking Prime Vendor and ECAT orders and submit reports on actions taken to resolve shipment discrepancies.
• The contractor will utilize the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) automated data management systems as the primary tracking and reporting system.
• The Contractor will utilize the DMLSS barcoding system to perform daily departmental inventories and will replenish the empty bins within six hours.
• The Contractor will communicate with departments to adjust par levels in accordance with local guidance and assist with adding new medical items to the inventory.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Contractor personnel shall possess the necessary supply technical skills to carry out all supply duties. Contractor's personnel shall possess a valid USFJ driver's license in order to operate light truck, step-van or sedan to transport materials and equipment to and from testing and custodial or end-user spaces.
• SECURITY REQUIREMENT: Must have obtained a favorably adjudicated Secret clearance determination at a minimum for this position.
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
