Onsite Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Composite Engineering
Job Description:
* Seeking a Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineer to support design and compliance efforts for development programs.
* The ideal candidate will have a background in metallurgical, materials, or composite engineering and experience guiding product approval processes through the define stages.
Responsibilities:
* Review compliance of Engineering to Material and Process System Level requirements
* Generate bill of materials based on information from Engineering designs and the material requirements planning system
* Perform analysis, design, or testing of materials, structural components, and functional systems for company products
* Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering software tools
* Apply GD&T principles and ensure accurate application to designs
* Develop and execute test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components
* Support manufacturing by answering questions, troubleshooting design issues, and assisting during assembly
* Collaborate closely with design and analysis teams, providing specification writing and compliance documentation support
* Experience ensuring compliance with applicable military and material process specifications (e.g., MIL-1191, MS-016) governing composite and metallurgical manufacturing and testing
* Communicate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure materials and processes meet quality and program requirements
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Composite Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
* Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
* GD&T training and application experience
* Ability to present technical content to peers and project groups
* Familiarity with material and process-related requirement and drawing reviews
* Knowledge of corrosion principles and material characterization
* Experience with specification development, qualification, and generation of design allowables
* Experience with Teamcenter, JIRA, and Maptas preferred
