Description:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as a Maintenance Supervisor for the F-35 sustainment support of the Polish Air Force. Our team is responsible for supporting the F-35 maintenance and operations at Lask Air Base in Poland.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will impact everything from daily activities to planning, scheduling and maintaining customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
This position supervises aircraft maintainers, provides technical assistance, and assists in setting maintenance priorities. The successful candidate supervises general services, repairs, and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft repair to ensure aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. The Supervisor will also assist in the supervision of the LM maintenance team's work schedule, training and administrative requirements.
Other responsibilities include:
• Will supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Foreign Military, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Pratt and Whitney, and BAE systems employees.
• Ensure workforce follows requisite technical instructions, DCMAINST 8210, AS9100 and local operating instructions.
• Oversee the Interim Contractor Support (ICS) maintenance team activities in order to accomplish "over-the-shoulder", On-the-Job Training and Lockheed Martin "Touch Labor" to the organic Polish Air Force maintenance personnel.
- Assist management in aircraft status reports, in progress work, material availability, potential work stoppages to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Augment the AFS Training department through instruction of required compliance and associated maintenance courses.
• Ensure training currency for all mechanics assigned to location.
• Travel to hazardous locations or support of locations in conflict may be required.
• Considered candidates must be able to work first (1st), second (2nd), third (3rd) or weekend shift(s) dependent on customer's needs.
• Must possess a current US passport
• Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be a U. S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Must possess at least 3 years recent (within the last 10 years) military aircraft maintenance experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with Aircraft Ground Operations Procedures and Aviation Safety
• Experience with Hazardous Waste Management, Maintenance Training, Foreign Object Debris (FOD,) programs and Security.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
• Relevant degree from an accredited university
• F-35 aircraft or Fifth Generation aircraft maintenance experience.
• Worked with Foreign Military Sales customers
• Nose-to-Tail Maintenance Background
• Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
• Previously awarded a Marine Corps, or Navy CDI, or Air Force 5 to 9 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential such as a licensed FAA "Airframe and Power" plant or Inspector Airframe license.
• Knowledge of working with composites and Low Observable Coatings.
• Aviation Quality Assurance experience
• Possess a functional capability on standard computer software programs.
• U.S. Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Operations under requisite regulations, orders and instructions.
• Experience and knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)
• Experience in Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) activities such as aircraft forms documentation, technical data usage, and supply chain management activities.
• Working Knowledgeable of Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, Supply Chain Management programs, and Time Accounting
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate instructions to specific maintenance mechanics/technicians.
