As a Systems Engineer on the THAAD program, your duties may include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline
• Coordinating with other components and the customer to draft requirements and verification approach
• Quickly becoming a proficient independent contributor with DOORS database and apply systems engineering change control process to retain control of the GSD requirements
• Collaborating with the GSD Software/Hardware internal teams and the THAAD Weapon System Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) organization
• Participating in GSD review meetings
• Participating in code reviews, code test issue resolution, and algorithmic implementation performance evaluations

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the product life cycle (e.g., proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production, field support, etc.)
• Knowledge of requirements management
• Active or Current Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields including mathematics degree with a physics-based focus from an accredited college/university
• Knowledge of Missile Defense Concepts and Interoperability or other Command and Control systems
• Systems Engineering or related experience/education:
a.) Concept of Operations (CONOPS)/ System Architecture
b.) Requirements definition or decomposition or working with requirements documents
c.) Requirements and Verification
d.) DOORs or similar Requirements management tools
e.) MBSE experience
• Experience in weapon system ground/flight test, verification processes, and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
