Description:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team as an F-16 Avionics Software Interface Control Document (ICD) software database Coordinator at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This position will provide support managing and maintaining USAF and European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) F-16 avionics and Operational Flight Program (OFP) software Interface Control Documents (ICD), the associated database management applications, and OFP software support tools unique to those systems for the F-16 System Program Office and 309th Software Engineering Group (SWEG).
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain master databases for F-16 aircraft OFP updates. Resolve interface issues reported by USAF field organizations. Participate in applicable System and Subsystem Design Review Boards (DRB) to provide updated interim and final software ICD documentation for each configured OFP maintenance update by the 309th SWEG.
• Experience driving software ICD change and approval processes.
• Ensure integrity of the ICD by enforcing consistent, accurate, and timely updates to the ICD.
• Must be a United States Citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are those skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university with 7 years related experience.
• Experience maintaining documentation within established Configuration Management (CM) processes and systems.
• Experience with complex software Configuration Management principles and processes to include familiarization with software tools such as Visual Studio, GIT, YAML, and/or AZURE DEVOPS.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:
• Possess a basic understanding of F-16 specific or other fighter aircraft avionics, weapons, sensors, and/or software architecture.
• Demonstrated familiarity with F-16 avionics software systems and primary and back-up bus controllers.
• Ability to learn new software tools and techniques quickly and to perform detailed audits and comparisons with a high degree of attention to detail and follow through.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer focus, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Software Requirements traceability database tool experience.
• Experience participating in formal Peer Review collaborative events for documentation and computer code development.
• Experience interfacing with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
