Description:The D5 Missile Production Associate
Manager is responsible for day to day
production operations in Missile Body
Operations (MBO) and leadership of
assigned salaried and hourly represented personnel to
ensure organizational goals and production
milestones are accomplished safely, on schedule
and within budget.

Candidate will manage more than one functional area of
manufacturing, such as assembly, disassembly, tool and die, packaging.
Candidate will be responsible for coordinating subordinate
employee recruitment, selection and
training, performance assessment, work
assignments, salary, and
recognition/disciplinary actions.
Appropriate degree from an accredited
college, or equivalent experience/combined
education, with professional experience
and specialized training commensurate
with assignment.

Candidate will be responsible for the safe accomplishment of
assembly, disassembly, processing, testing
and inspection of missile bodies, missile
sections, and missile components for the
Trident II D5 Weapon System.
Candidate will ensure personnel adhere to
safety, security, quality, high work ethics
and a teaming environment within the
organization. Other job duties include
participation in the preparation and
presentation of proposals, business plans,
operating budgets, and program metrics
with colleagues, Managers and Sr.
Management. The goal of MBO
Management is to ensure all milestones are
met and monitor adherence to the master
schedules, industrial support requirements
plan and program plans by identifying
program problems and developing
solutions, such as allocation of resources or
changing requirements.
The candidate will be one of four managers
working in MBO assigned to a specific
building, with assignment to building on an annual rotational basis.
The candidate will be required to work swing shift when operational requirements necessitate.
This Position requires Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from
an accredited college and significant experience in production, planning, engineering, or other related experience, or equivalent experience combined with education.

Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing the
efforts of personnel in a lead or supervisory
role.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a
DoD secret security clearance.

Understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and demonstrated
experience leading or supervising union represented
hourly employees.

Experience managing schedules and Plan
of Action and Milestones (POAM) to meet
business objectives and driving actions to completion.
Desired Skills:
Experience collecting and analyzing metrics to make data-based decisions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Experience working in the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program at any Field Site or other Support Site

Experience with scheduling, production, and/or processing requirements related to ordnance operations

Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperatives

Experience facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or Continuous Improvement events, and/or Green Belt
certification

Experience with SAP

Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills, including presentations to leadership.

Must be able to work effectively in a team environment

Current Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
