Description:
You will be the F-35 and ADP Technical Publication Senior Manager.
What You Will Be Doing
You will serve as the Senior Manager for F-35 Joint Technical Data (JTD) and ADP Technical Publications, responsible for development, production and sustainment of flight, weapons, maintenance and technical compliance data for the worldwide F-35 and ADP fleets.
You will be responsible for coordination with the Joint Program Office, F-35 and ADP development partners and internal product development teams to meet all critical schedules and resolve complex technical instructions for flight and O-level maintenance. You will manage a consolidated team of data authors, IT, business and graphics to execute existing contract efforts, and capture new efforts aimed at advancing the F-35 and ADP capabilities. Management responsibilities will include direction of authoring efforts across technical competencies, management of IT upgrades to the authoring system, interaction with domestic and international customers, business team integration, Earned Value Management analysis to maintain cost and schedule, reporting of program deliveries, interface with JPO JTD leadership and reporting and briefing Sustainment senior leaders and customers. In addition, this position is required to coordinate performance across multiple engineering disciplines and will also participate in proposal efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proven ability to drive positive organizational change that delivers business results aligned with Aero 100 objectives.
• Must hold a Final DoD Secret clearance prior to start. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Holds at least 10 years of experience with technical Data, Aircraft engineering, and/or military maintenance or aviation experience, or combined experience and education.
• Previous experience leading teams or project teams.
• Previous engineering management experience including
responsibility for program performance, cost, schedule and quality.
Desired Skills:
• Experience engaging and presenting in senior level meetings
• Leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum Leadership
• Holds a Bachelor of Science degree
• 15 years of related aircraft engineering experience.
• Experience working multiple platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain TS and SAPF security clearances.
• Effective task organization and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Excellent leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum Leadership

• Experience with operational excellence (continuous improvement) capability.
• Experience leveraging risk management processes to manage emerging challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to mature and transition technology

• Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
