We are experiencing growth and we are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX.

You will be the Senior Reliability Engineer for the Reliability & Quality Engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team guarantees that every piece of production hardware meets rigorous design and contract reliability requirements through data driven analysis, growth programs, and cross functional collaboration.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Reliability Engineer you will lead technical reliability analyses, drive growth plan initiatives, and serve as the reliability voice in design reviews and test events. You'll work side by side with product, manufacturing, and test engineers, turning failure data into actionable improvements that keep our products performing flawlessly in the field.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and documenting findings.
• Developing and executing reliability growth plans; analyzing growth trends to meet program milestones.
• Creating reliability block diagrams, predictions, and statistical models that satisfy contract requirements.
• Participating in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB) to guide root cause investigations.
• Mining FRACAS data to spot trends, prioritize failure modes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and supporting Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) decisions.
• Designing mathematical models that flag high risk units, batches, or processes and proposing design or formulation changes.
• Recommending test methods and statistical process control procedures that achieve target reliability levels.
• Compiling performance reports and process control statistics for senior leadership.
• Collaborating daily with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical inputs, and delivering clear, concise reports.
• Occasionally traveling to supplier sites, test facilities, or customer locations as needed.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with performing reliability predictions and analyses.
• Experience with reliability FRACAS and statistical data mining.
• Experience with the FMECA process.
• Ability to manage subcontractors in the Reliability field of expertise.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college with 3 years of professional experience.

• Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding
• Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
• Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
