ECAD Librarian & PCB Designer

Pay Estimated: $49.23-$54.23/Hour

Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:

As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer supporting Undersea Systems, you'll play a key role in the development of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) for electronics used in high-reliability undersea communication systems. You'll work with talented engineers and contribute to solutions that enhance national security.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Education & Experience: Associate's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Clearance: Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred
  • Knowledge of one or more Mentor Graphics tools, such as xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, or Hyperlynx, or familiarity with Altium
  • Experience with Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, and 3D model creation using SolidWorks, NX, or CREO
  • Circuit design and hands-on prototyping experience
  • Basic understanding of IPC and manufacturing standards
  • In-depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques
  • Ability to communicate with suppliers to clarify design documentation
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition
  • Proficiency in documentation capture, including:
    • BOM/parts list generation
    • ODB++ digital fabrication packages
    • 3D model generation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition
  • Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes
  • Proficiency in library management practices
