LC Training and Development Specialist

Job Description:

• The LC Training and Development Specialist (TDS001) will help provide engineering technical and management support in studying, analyzing, and evaluating engineering problems, and developing solutions.
• Support will include assisting in the development of contract documentation and the development of technical plans, specifications, cost estimates relating to the various categories of engineering support services, studies provided, and associated reports.
• This position will be part of a contract team to assist in the preparation of a wide range of engineering and feasibility studies, providing engineering and technical support for design review, performance feasibility studies, and designs of ships, boat, and shipboard systems in support of existing and future vessel acquisition programs.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Apply systemic, performance based instructional systems design processes to studies and development of training for new systems.
• Conduct research and analyze training needs; works with SMEs to develop concepts, technical materials and procedures into effective training.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field such as behavioral science, instructional design, instructional technology, education technology, and/or performance technology
• Minimum of 5 years' experience applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) in a military environment.

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• A secret security clearance
