Job Description:

  • The LC Change Manager (REQ001) will help provide engineering technical and management support in studying, analyzing, and evaluating engineering problems, and developing solutions.
  • Support will include assisting in the development of contract documentation and the development of technical plans, specifications, cost estimates relating to the various categories of engineering support services, studies provided, and associated reports.
  • This position will be part of a contract team to assist in the preparation of a wide range of engineering and feasibility studies, providing engineering and technical support for design review, performance feasibility studies, and designs of ships, boat, and shipboard systems in support of existing and future vessel acquisition programs.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Trace requirements; provide input to specification development, write, and incorporate comments.
  • Document and manage changes to specifications, documentation.
  • Documented experience working with collaboration tools.
  • IBM Rational Dynamic Object Orient Requirements Systems (DOORS) certification preferred.
  • Documented experience with web based collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint).

Degree Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • A secret security clearance
