Kentro is hiring an experienced Director of Service Delivery supporting multiple Federal Government customers. The SD Director is accountable for leading and delivering services that meet or exceed customer requirements. The primary function of the position is to manage assigned resources within the identified constraints of schedule, budget, and technical performance, delivering the product or service to our client. ITC Directors are responsible for achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the areas of quality, schedule, business relations, and personnel management.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and direct up to 10 project teams on project deliverables within client budget and delivery guidelines
  • Conduct project analysis and provide an effective forecast of all project's directives, financials, and timelines
  • Leverage cross-project capabilities/expertise to achieve project and program objectives
  • Build/maintain relationships with client stakeholders and key executives maintaining ITC's high touch approach to customer service
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners (both subcontractor and prime) and provide input to subcontractor evaluations.
  • Develop a strategy to grow client accounts by actively networking and connecting dots to other sell-in opportunities.
  • Provide strategic oversight and vision to client projects including thought-leadership and advice, challenging status quo, and aligning multiple senior-level leaders to reach a decision.
  • Overcome obstacles to quality delivery of services to satisfy contract requirements, solve customer problems, and drive client satisfaction
  • Act as subject-matter expert on project deliverables, timetables, risks, and challenges.
  • Lead periodic business reviews with clients and ITC executive leadership by highlighting achievements using data and strategic insights, establishing a vision of future deliverables and achievements, and gaining buy-in and support to grow the account.
  • Lead strategic conference calls and in-person meetings by establishing an agenda, defining roles and responsibilities, steering the conversation to gain alignment, and communicating desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team and Delivery Teams to create strategic proposals, presentations, and SOWs for clients.
  • Analyze and communicate internal and external success metrics and KPIs including utilization and effectiveness of our management technology solutions.
  • Mentor and coach staff on their project management methodologies including agile and scrum.
  • Develop the business and financial acumen of project managers and project leads.
  • Conduct performance reviews and build individual development plans for direct reports
  • Coordinate back-office recruiting, training, quality, finance, security and contract support.
  • Manage department budget while regularly meeting and exceeding financial goals.
  • Continually demonstrate accountability to successfully realize client goals.

Location: Remote, but willing and able to travel to HQ or customer sites as needed.

Requirements

  • minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of government consulting experience, preferably in support of Federal Government customers
  • 8+ years of experience with IT Service Delivery of large Infrastructure, Cloud, and application-based projects
  • 8+ years of Program Management, including management of government contracts to cost, scope, and schedule requirements.
  • Experience leading delivery engagements of solutions such as: AWS Cloud, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and software applications is preferred
  • Experience re-engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality of large-scale solutions in accordance with client requirements
  • Deep exposure developing and creating project plans that display project milestones in accordance with SDLC and PMP governance guidelines
  • Ability to lead, or facilitate discussions on agile best practices, workflows, and tools usage
  • Integrity and honesty coupled with technical experience are a must.

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP certification (preferred)


Clearance requirement:
  • Willing and able to get higher level clearance- either Public trust or DOD Secret or higher.
