JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support for workstation setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the organization
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Provide first-level technical support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or appropriate support channels.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of assets.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, antivirus checks, and system backups.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
- Provide support for conference room technology and remote access tools.
- Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0-2 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts.
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
