Blu Omega is seeking a dynamic Workforce Training Consultant to lead a critical initiative focused on building a future-ready workforce. This role is perfect for someone passionate about learning strategies, organizational development, and driving mission success through innovative training solutions. You'll work closely with leadership to identify gaps, design scalable curricula, and implement programs that empower teams to perform at their best.
In this role, you'll work on-site, side by side a talented team of professionals, ensuring the workforce training and development of our DOD customer.
Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required

In this role, you'll work on-site, side by side a talented team of professionals, ensuring the workforce training and development of our DOD customer.
Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing training programs to ensure alignment with mission priorities and performance objectives.
- Develop and execute plans for ongoing training delivery, workshops, and learning experiences.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify curriculum gaps and prioritize new content development.
- Summarize findings and incorporate feedback to continuously improve training materials.
- Create a comprehensive workforce training plan with measurable outcomes and timelines.
- Design modular, scalable training curricula that can adapt to evolving needs.
- Deliver targeted training sessions and ensure smooth implementation of learning programs.
- Coordinate logistics and administration for training updates and delivery.
- Lead strategic initiatives to transform workplace culture and advance the Future of Work.
- Develop strategic communication materials for senior leadership and workforce reporting.
- Engage with program managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Conduct research on regulations and policies, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain project management tools and templates, ensuring outdated resources are updated or retired.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in workforce training, instructional design, or organizational development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with modern learning technologies and methodologies (Agile experience is a plus).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Nice to Have:
- Active Secret Clearance (must have to be considered)
- Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA (El Segundo) 5 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (OR minimum of 5 years of related experience).
- Experience in developing and facilitating workforce training programs.
- Familiarity in instructional design principles and best practices.
- Experience in creating different types of training (e.g., videos); experience in video editing
- Advise as Subject Matter Expert on business innovation, modernization, and transformation projects.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and modern business practices
- Experience in facilitating workshops, trainings, and key sessions for strategic planning efforts and execution.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Salary Range: $85K-$115K
