Our Development Environment & Infrastructure Solutions team supports classified software‑development infrastructure for critical government programs. We need a motivated individual who can provide foundational Unix/Linux system administration and deliver data‑driven insights into system health, build metrics, and budget tracking.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, IT, or a related STEM field
-Linux Fundamentals: Demonstrated familiarity with the Linux command line, file‑system navigation, and basic system concepts.
-Programming & Data Skills:
Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib) or equivalent scripting experience.
SQL (Postgres, BigQuery, or similar) for data extraction and transformation.
-Visualization Experience: Ability to create dashboards or visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Jupyter Notebook.
-Analytical Ability: Proven track record of collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to support decision‑making (academic projects, internships, or prior work).
-Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with users, senior analysts, and management.
-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Data‑Analytics Extras: Knowledge of ETL processes, predictive modeling, or time‑series forecasting that could enhance metric‑tracking dashboard
Experience collecting metrics data
Ability to organize information and prioritze tasks
Ability to analyze budget data and report trends
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
