SRC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electronics Technician Team Lead to manage the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)
- Leading a team of technicians in the repair, refurbishment, and upgrade of the ASOS equipment deployed around the globe
- Utilizing strong technical expertise in electronics troubleshooting, repair, and modification

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Formal electronics training from:
- Technical school, or
- Class A or B military school in electronics for navigation aids, meteorology systems, or communications systems, or
- Four (4) year electronics apprentice program with experience relating to the listed system
- Formal electronics training, to include installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit, and making and repairing connectors
- Four (4) years of practical experience, to include electronics repair, maintenance, and installation
- Proactive individual with a commitment to quality, safety, and the reliable operation of critical weather observation systems
- Excellent leadership and project management skills

- Team Lead experience
- ASOS/AWOS or aviation weather system maintenance background
