- Performing as an infrastructure engineer on an NCRC product scrum team
- Supporting resolution of open program problem reports (PPRs) associated with their designated NCRC product scrum team
- Developing design and configuration artifacts associated with hardware and networking devices
- Maintaining configuration managed artifacts associated with NCR hardware
- Supporting hardware obsolescence and technology refresh activities
- Supporting cyber range capability assessments, evaluations, and technology prototypes
- Providing remote site support for setup, configuration, and delivery activities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics
- Three (3) years or more of related, proven experience performing similar duties
- High-level knowledge of the following: server architectures; networking devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls); operating systems; network configuration and routing protocols; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage)
- Knowledge of computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks
- Knowledge of storage area network (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS) technologies and alternative solutions
- Experience with using and configuring Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with project logistics and working with controlled engineering baselines
- Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues
- Demonstrated ability to work within teams
- Strong organizational skills
- CompTIA Security+ (or higher) Certification
- Top Secret / SCI clearance eligibility
Desired Skills
- Master's degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline, or five (5) years or more of related, proven experience performing similar duties
- Strong experience with Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with design and installation of centralized storage solutions
- Experience with advanced storage solutions and file systems such as: ZFS, BTRFS, ReFS, etc.
- Experience with Cisco networking devices
- Knowledge of Dell server architectures and maintaining Dell servers
- Experience or knowledge of Splunk
- Experience or knowledge of Veeam-based backup solutions
- Experience with maintaining multi-tenant data center architectures
- Experience with complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and configuring domain services such as AD, Exchange/email, DNS, DHCP, VPN, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as: VMware, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience with software defined networking and network function virtualization
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP, etc.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git
- Experience evaluating and applying Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements
- Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools
