As a Security Officer - Armed Specialist Aero/Defense Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Position Type: Part Time

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License; this is a strict requirement for this role.
• Must have a DOD Secret or higher clearance for this location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working conditions as required by the location.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity to help to deter potential threats to the site.
• Assist with access control, including verifying credentials for entry to secure areas.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed records according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying for a role in Texas.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
