Duties

  • You will review aircraft and equipment logbooks, Scheduled Removal Cards, Accessory History Records, Equipment History Records, Visual Identification/ Maintenance Action Forms, and other Type/Model/Series documents and records.
  • You will provide technical advice and recommendation(s) to production, support organzations, and customers regarding the examination and evaluation results.
  • You will provide technical representation in the development/revision of product work specifications, resolution, of work process conflicts, development of new business products, capabilities, processes and procedures.
  • You will collect and provide data for engineering Reliability Centered Maintenance and logistics analysis, norms and budget formulation, material forecasting, and workload planning.

I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including
1) Examine, analyze and evaluate the condition of miscellaneous aircraft structural systems, components and accessories; 2) Determine the product condition by identifying and documenting all discrepancies; 3) Determine the tasks that are over and above the required depot rework specifications, including labor and materials; 4) Perform progressive static and dynamic examination and evaluation of assigned Type/Model/Series (TMS) aircraft structural systems; 5) Review aircraft and equipment logbooks, Scheduled Removal Cards (SRC), Accessory History Records (AHR), Equipment History Records (EHR), Visual Identification/Maintenance Action Forms (VIDS/MAFS), etc. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.

I have the ability to perform the full range of tasks on my own initiative under general supervision including
1) Examine, analyze and evaluate the condition of miscellaneous aircraft structural systems, components and accessories; 2) Determine the product condition by identifying and documenting all discrepancies; 3) Determine the tasks that are over and above the required depot rework specifications, including labor and materials; 4) Perform progressive static and dynamic examination and evaluation of assigned Type/Model/Series (TMS) aircraft structural systems; 5) Demonstrate the ability to communicate with internal and external customers. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

I have the ability to perform common tasks under general supervision including 1) Examine, analyze and evaluate the condition of miscellaneous aircraft structural systems, components and accessories; 2) Determine the product condition by identify and document all discrepancies; 3) Demonstrate the ability to communicate with internal and external customers. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
