Title: Software Engineer-Test & Verification
Location: Cambridge, MA- Onsite
Contract: 12+ months, possible extension
Pay range: $90-100/hr on w2

Introduction

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field
- Typically 3 or more years of experience in a software engineering classification or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience
- Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA
- Only US citizen with ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored
- Experience with modern HIL techniques and/or use of AI Tools
- Proficiency in NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW for HIL testing and automation
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar
- Familiarity with FPGA testing/architecture
- Knowledge of avionics communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN) is a plus
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations
- Design, develop, and complete test and verification of software products
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements and test strategies
- Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Lead a small technical team to achieve technical milestones
