**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance**

Baer is looking for SAP Application Security Provisioning Solution Architect for a 6+ month Federal remote project.

Title: SAP Application Security Provisioning Solution Architect
Location: Remote and Kingstowne, VA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Develop and implement a holistic application security strategy covering authentication, SSO, provisioning, SoD, and role-based design.
• Design and deploy scalable user provisioning solutions in alignment with deployment and fielding plans.
• Collaborate with Application Security, Technical, and Functional teams to execute the security architecture.
• Oversee role build, testing, and deployment activities to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated security team and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• Act as a key client-facing representative, integrating security activities with other project workstreams.
• Report on progress, risks, and issues to both technical and functional delivery leads, proposing mitigation strategies as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with enterprise applications such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, Appian, GRC, NextLabs, and SailPoint IGA.
• Strong understanding of : SAP Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) via NextLabs and Position-Based Security via S/4HANA Defense & Security
• Familiarity with SSO mechanisms, authentication protocols, user provisioning systems, and SoD frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience leading security initiatives within large, complex environments - ideally within the Defense or Federal sector.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive strategic security solutions.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other government security frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SAP Security/GRC Certification, or equivalent.
