Koniag Professional Services (KPS) is seeking a highly professional and experienced Analytical & Operations Lead to support the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (USW(R&E)) Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO) Combatant Command AI Forum. This forum promotes coordination and interchange among warfighters on artificial intelligence tools, methodologies, training, and operational research. This individual will serve as the operational backbone of the forum, ensuring its efficient and effective operation. The role is responsible for seamless coordination among senior Combatant Command and Department of War (DoW) stakeholders and requires the ability to prepare materials for senior executives and Flag Officers. You will play a key role in supporting the forum's logistics, operations, and synthesizing findings and analysis to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the DoW enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Forum Operations & Facilitation:
- Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate all meetings of the USW(R&E) CDAO Combatant Command AI Forum, ensuring they are productive and aligned with CCMD and strategic priorities.
Executive Briefings:
- Prepare, consolidate, and deliver concise, high-impact briefings and decision packages for senior executives and Flag Officers on forum activities, AI use cases, risk assessments, and strategic initiatives.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:
- Serve as the primary liaison for the Governance Forum, facilitating communication and coordinating activities with key stakeholders across the Combatant Commands, Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), the Military Departments, and other DoW components.
Analytical Support & Synthesis:
- Analyze and synthesize complex information related to the identification of AI use cases, risk categorization, emerging technology applicability, training shortfalls, and opportunities for enhanced procurement and allied cooperation to provide the forum with the necessary context for informed decision-making.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Capture, formalize, and circulate detailed meeting minutes, key decisions, and action items. Maintain the official repository for all forum documentation, policies, and standards in accordance with DoW record-keeping requirements.
Action Item Tracking:
- Monitor and track the status of all action items and initiatives assigned by the forum, following up with responsible parties to ensure completion and providing regular status updates to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, National Security Studies, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 8+ years of experience in a support analyst, project coordination, or staff officer role.
- Proven experience working within the Department of Waror a similar large-scale federal government environment.
- Demonstrated experience preparing materials for and briefing senior leaders, executives, and/or Flag Officers.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of attention to detail in all work products.
- An active Secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting senior leaders within the USW(R&E), CDAO, a Combatant Command, or other OSW components.
- Familiarity with DoW AI policy, data governance frameworks and policy, and strategic documents.
- Experience with collaboration and task management tools used within the DoW, such as SharePoint, GitLab, and CATMS.
- An active Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI security clearance
