Responsibilities
What you get to do every day:
- Network Architect to join Cloud Service Provider team supporting government customer.
- This role involves designing and implementing advanced network infrastructure solutions across core systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise environments.
- Architect and deliver network infrastructure solutions including IP routing, switching, traffic engineering (QoS), firewalls, access controls, and bandwidth services.
- Design and support enterprise computing infrastructure for both on-premises and off-prem distributed cloud systems.
- Recommend strategic architectural direction and develop solution roadmaps, standards, templates, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network anomalies, including collaboration with Cisco for advanced issue resolution.
- Provide expert-level guidance and solutions to complex systems problems with minimal supervision.
- Lead initiatives independently and proactively contribute to team and customer success.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
Travel: Some travel to extended enterprise site may be necessary.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Cisco technologies: MPLS, EVPN, VX-LAN, IOS, XE, XR, NX-OS, switching, routing, and segment routing.\
- Experience with continuous integration and test automation.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, firewall implementation, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and virtualization technologies (VDI) is a plus.
- Cisco certifications such as CCIE or CCNP are preferred.
