Job Title: Electronics/Repair Technician
Location: Duluth, GA
Job Responsibilities
The Electronics/Repair Technician is responsible for:
- Demonstrates progressively increasing responsibility in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications equipment, electronics equipment
- Capability to distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems
- Plans and performs installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for communications equipment, electronics equipment
- Troubleshooting RF networks
- Use of Spectrum Analyzer
- Full spectrum testing of HPA's and LNB's
- Plotting and capturing test data
- Use of Power Meter, for bench testing output of HPA's
- Use of TDMA and FDMA modems
- Creating diagrams for signal flow, wiring and cabling
- Building signal and RF cables
- Soldering, cables and circuit boards
- Component level troubleshooting and repair of electronic/communications items
- Experience in writing technical manuals and work instructions
- May be required to travel up to 10% CONUS locations
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
- Shall have a minimum three (3) years experience with repairs or refurbishment of SATCOM or SATCOM related equipment.
Desired Qualification
5+ years experience and advance knowledge in the following areas:
- Troubleshooting RF networks
- Use of Spectrum Analyzer
- Full spectrum testing of HPA's and LNB's

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
