Kentro is hiring a meticulous and highly organized Project Manager (PM) to join the centralized Zero Trust Leadership Cell (ZTLC) supporting U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) on the EDAT innovation contract. This critical role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the comprehensive quality and performance governance framework for USSOCOM's multi-year Zero Trust transformation (PoP through FY27).
The PM will monitor key metrics, manage the integrated schedule, track milestones, and report on compliance and progress across all 12 interdependent Zero Trust Implementation Plans (IPlans). You will ensure rigorous performance and compliance standards are met, providing the transparency and accountability necessary for successful execution.

You will ensure rigorous performance and compliance standards are met, providing the transparency and accountability necessary for successful execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the comprehensive quality and performance governance framework for the ZT program.
- Establish and track measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to the 152 Target and Advanced ZT activities to monitor progress toward IOC and FOC.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and ensure adherence to governance processes.
- Manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in coordination with the Program Manager, tracking milestones, critical path activities, and cross-IPlan dependencies.
- Utilize automated dashboards (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, PowerBI) to monitor metrics, schedule adherence, and compliance in near real-time.
- Lead the continuous reporting process, including the development of Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), Monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and ad-hoc briefings for government leadership.
- Implement and manage the program's documentation and artifact repository, ensuring version control, quality, and accessibility.
- Review program deliverables for compliance with architectural standards, contractual requirements, and quality benchmarks.
- Facilitate Agile processes, synchronization meetings, and planning sessions across the ZTLC and the 12 IPlan execution teams.
- Support the Program Manager in implementing the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management process by tracking risk mitigation activities and compliance status.
- Define and enforce clear RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrices across the program.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and quality across the ZT implementation effort.
Location: On-site in Tampa, FL.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10+) years of related work experience in IT project management, quality assurance, or IT governance. Must have experience managing schedules, KPIs, and compliance reporting for large-scale DoD IT programs.
- Proven expertise in managing complex project schedules (IMS), identifying critical paths, and managing dependencies using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Strong experience in developing and managing quality assurance frameworks (QASP) and performance metrics (KPIs).
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- High proficiency in project management and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, organizational process improvement concepts (e.g., CMMI), and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Knowledge of risk management processes and methods for assessing compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and prepare executive-level reports.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and DoD cybersecurity policies is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support senior leadership effectively.
- Experience with USSOCOM is preferred.
Certifications Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- ITIL v4 Foundation (or higher).
- Must possess an active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist) are highly valued.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
