Job Description:
Contracts professional looking to expand and grow strategic footprint within the organization. Self-starter capable of high-level independent work managing DoD, Commercial and CAS covered contracts. Support large program efforts, regularly contribute in business strategy formation and tactical implementations at all levels.

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Contracts experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Contracts experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Contracts experience

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
- Provide business, contractual and risk mitigation guidance.
- Manage a complex portfolio of DoD-related contracts, providing business, contractual, and risk mitigation strategic guidance from inception to close-out.
- Ensure compliance with US Government acquisition regulations, including FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15, and understand cost and price estimating concepts.
- Offer contractual support for commercial and programmatic strategies, operational decisions, proposal risk analysis, mitigation alternatives, and negotiation oversight.
- Apply broad-based business judgment during contract formation activities to maximize negotiated outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in proposal development, identify risk areas, and promote innovative solutions to internal and external customers.
- Partner with Finance, Programs, and Sales to achieve desired program objectives and outcomes.
- Analyze new laws, regulations, and contract trends for potential business impact.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on contracts-related recommendations, including legal activities, intellectual property interests, disputes, claims, protests, and lawsuits.
- Continue to develop and support commercial pricing strategies and procurement justifications.
- Demonstrate self-starting capabilities with strong organizational and computer skills for high-level independent work.
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
