Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services organization is seeking an experienced P8 Training Senior Project Management Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO. In this role, reporting to the Canada P-8 Training Program Manager, the individual will interact with a wide variety of organizations and business units such as BGS Government Training Engineering (GTE), Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS), Boeing Canada, foreign and domestic suppliers, US Navy customer, and Royal Canadian Air Force end user.

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of project plans and schedules
- Establish, monitor and integrate project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management and decisions
- Perform project management activities in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO-standards)
- Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects
- Serve as a liaison between program and team, finance, planning, scheduling, and functional management
- Use trend, variance analyses, risk assessments and mitigations, and cost and schedule baselines
- Perform project close-out and document lessons learned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years' experience with Program / Project management, or related leadership experience
- 2+ years' experience with Earned Value Management or similar cost and schedule accounting means
- Experience working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors or suppliers
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contracts
- Experience with Program Management Best Practices
- Experience working with international customers
- Experience with military or commercial aviation training (experience with P-8 Training a plus)
