Description:The SDA Tranche SOC role will be responsible for leading the crew and performing real-time satellite operations on a new complex ground communications system. In this role you will be responsible for, but limited to, the following:
- provide leadership to the operations crew
- Establishing voice, messaging, and data communications
- Configuration and monitoring of computer displays and networking equipment
- Coordinating and scheduling contacts using custom software tools
- Determination and resolution of anomalous conditions to include; participation in review and problem boards
- Generating reports and other documentation for downtimes
- Provide operational inputs to engineering process as well as process improvements
- Support ground system development, working groups and test and checkout
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Satellite Operations
- Experience leading a team
- Strong oral and written skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with testing, development, or system integration work
- Current DOD Top Secret
- Experience with solving complex and or parallel problems
- Ability to work with-in a dynamic operational environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to pivot within a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with MS Office products

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
